One of my friends recently commented that I don't post much so here goes.

Well it has been almost a year since we moved out here to Washington and I love it here.
The relaxed attitude and open area reminds me of my home town back in the seventies before everything was developed.

Its nice to have a light turn green and not have 3 seconds before the car behind you blasts there horn.

We still have alot of stuff in boxes from the move but were slowly going through it .

I'm Flying back to MA. in the morning to finish packing the rest of our stuff from the move.
Though we tried hard we couldn't load every thing in time for the move out her to WA. so I'm on my way back.
I'm looking forward to seeing friends again but dreading the work loading the trailer again.

The truck got here yesterday and I have been busy loading it with the heavy stuff.
Can't wait till it is over and we are in Olympia, WA.
I have untill Monday to load up all our stuff.

A long time ago I made plans with my mom to move out west.
While events prevented it from happening then and my mom stayed in Mansfield for the remainder of her life recent events have now made it possible for me to go.
I received a settlement for my work injury and am planning to use part of it to move to Olympia Washington with Nathan and Nonny.
The actual plan it pending the arrival of my check but we are hoping to be there by Christmas.

Today I finally settled with AIG so now i'm free to move on with life without them controlling my finances.

Hopefully starting physical therapy soon.
Today I am scheduled for an evaluation at Teamwork Physical Therapy in Stoughton.
I called to set this up using a outpatient referral from my doctor and expected it to be arranged and ready to go  but once again Workman's comp is playing games.
New facts brought to light by this:
1:)  I have a new caseworker. "This is number five."
2:) The new case worker will not approve  PT from the Doctors script without an evaluation being done first. " Isn't that what the Doctor did when he prescribed it for me?"
3:) My Doctor is on vacation for a week.
Fun fun fun lets see what get's done.

I had a busy weekend helping Curtis replace the clutch in his forester.

Went to the Doctor Monday and made some progress.
1:) Doubled my Tramadol script. "no more running out or putting up with the pain because I don't have enough and want to save it till I need it."
2:) Cut me down to 1 med for my blood pressure. "The two together where really messing me up and where not needed."
3:) Told me to find a PT closer to where I live and get him the info for a referral. "Finally I get to have some treatment for my back"

So I am very happy with this Doctor He is my new PCP as my old PCP is moving and recommended this one.
We got a lot done for a first visit.

Well today I went in for a cortisone shot in my right knee.
It is far to early to tell if it will help in the long run but for now this is the first time since Oct/ 05 that it hasn't hurt.
I got the shot at around 2:00 pm so this may be just the lidocaine effect but I sure hope the pain stays gone it feels great to move without pain for a change.

Looks like I'm going to need surgery on my knee to get it back in shape.
The doctor has says it should be a simple arthroscopic surgery requiring only a few small cuts.
Oh fun.
But if it will make it so I can walk normally and without pain I'm all for it.

1. I usually don't post much "at all" though I do read my friends posts when I can.
2. I love many styles of music. "My collection is one of the most eclectic I have seen."
3. I used to play Guitar a bit till an accident with a snow-blower stopped me cold. "I have resolved to try to pick it up again this year"
4. I love to ride and have had as many as seven bikes at one time. " now I only have one and it needs a little work to get on the road"
5. I'm one of seven siblings, the youngest and the only male.
6. I have been very lucky to have many great friends old and new.
7. I have tried many careers before I settled on computer tech.
8. I have trouble accepting the word Can't  " I'm just too stubborn"

Well It's a new year and time for a few resolutions.

1.) I will get the living room clean. (This is actually a big one since I moved in with </a></b></a>nonnycat and </a></a>stormerider </b>There is a lot of stuff in limited space.)

2.) I will get my car repaired or replaced. (Got a bad seal in the transmission that needs replacing)

3.) I will fix my bike. (Not such a big deal I need new handlebars, Blinkers and mirrors should be under $200.00 to get it road ready.)

4. I will put a little more effort into learning to play guitar. (Been a shame having a nice B.C.Rich Warlock collecting dust)

Here is hoping it is better than the last.

After a month of attempts we finally got the King size soft sided water bed with matching bookcase and bureau.
I also got a bookcase and six shelves of hardcover mostly sci fi books.
All of this for $85.00 and the rental of the uhaul van for the day.

Last week during the full moon we had a freezing fog here late at night.
On the way  to Nathan's house I had a run in with a Semi.
He came around the corner halfway into my lane but I managed to avoid getting mushed.
However I was not able to regain control and hit the guardrail.
My Jetta did not survive this  in good shape.
While it is repairable the number of things it needs outweigh it's value.
So now I'm looking for another car.

Well looks like Stormrider finally got me started on Live Journal Hello all.
